Saucony Ladies ProGrid Xodus 2.0 Shoes: The first Xodus was a revelation in off-road running and the first and only running shoe to offer a Vibram outsole. Vibram is the trusted brand when it comes to walking boots and outdoor shoes, so Saucony have joined forces to take the strengths of the Vibram compound providing great grip and amazing durability and add them to the cushioning and flexibility of a running shoe. When this is coupled with Saucony's premium heel cushioning technology, ProGrid, you get an off road shoe with the cushioning, fit and feel of a road shoe. The Xodus also has a new one-piece water-resistant upper with a gusseted tongue which protects the foot both from getting wet, but also from trail and off-road debris, particularly with its HF welded overlays around the forefoot area. Finally, sandwiched between the cushioned ProGrid midsole and the grippy, durable Vibram outsole is an EBO plate which runs the full length of the shoe insulating the foot from sharp stones or roots when you're not on the tarmac.
